Visiting Our Campus

Visits from family and friends are essential for our patient's comfort and healing process. Our general visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.  We do accommodate parent, guardian and caregiver visitation outside of general visitation hours.

Visiting hours may vary by program. Please contact your child's specific program to verify visiting hours. For more information, please call 617-254-3800.

Please note, we are a smoke/vape, tree nut/peanut and latex free campus.

Parking

Free parking for visitors is available in Lot A.

Visiting Guidelines

General Rules

  • All visitors are asked to sign a visitation log, located at the entrance of the hospital and at the entrance of each unit. Please sign in at the Security desk and give your car license plate number to Security to register your car. If there are no spaces in Patient Parking, you can park in Lot A outside the patient section. You must register your car each time you park at Franciscan Children’s.
  • Visitors under 18 years of age, including siblings of the patient, must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
  • All visitors must wash their hands before entering and upon exiting a patient’s room
  • Our patients are engaged in healing activities throughout the day. To avoid over-tiring the patient, we ask visitors (other than parents and guardians) to please limit the length of their visit as well as the number of people visiting at one time
  • To prevent disturbing other patients and their families, we ask that all visitors be as quiet as possible
  • Anyone suffering from a fever, cold, respiratory infection or illness, or if you recently tested positive for or are awaiting COVID-19 results, should not visit our campus
